Date

Per instruction from the Wisconsin Elections Commission, the only purpose of this meeting is to correct a procedural error in the original caucus held on Saturday, January 7th at 1:00 p.m.  Electors were allowed to vote for two candidates for Town Chairperson and should have only been allowed to vote for one.  This occurred only for the Town Chairperson, not the two supervisor positions so they do not need to be done over.  Additionally, ballot positions were not drawn after the meeting so that will also need to be done as stated under #2 above for all three positions.

Reconvened Town Caucus

Due to an error in procedure where electors were allowed to vote for two nominees for town chair where regulations state that only one nominee can be voted for by each elector, that part of the caucus will have to be redone (nominees for town chair).  Also, we failed to draw for ballot position among the nominees so that will also have to be done.  This will take place on Wednesday, January 18th at 6 p.m. at the Sampson Town Hall.  I take full responsibility for the error and regret any inconvenience this may cause.  Jim Jerabek, Town Chairman
